I've always lived in the US (except when travelling abroad for work for periods of time). I've lived the last 4.5 years in Florida (Tampa Bay area 1 hour west of Orlando/Disney). We have the hot sun, many beaches, and occasional hurricane scares in the area. I really like the area, the hurricanes are the only negative side in my opinion. Before Florida I lived my entire life in Michigan where there are four seasons and we would get hot hot weather as well as cold cold weather. Also I lived near the birthplace of the automobile (Detroit).
-------------------

I was thinking of an idea of a smilie with a yoda or dart vader face that lasers their name with a light saber. For example, a yoda would come out, then turn the saber on, then start lasering the name in leaving burning marks with just a little smoke while doing flips and turns.

I have an idea for a smilie that I have not yet seen and think would be GREAT! One that says, Hey, pay attention to me! I'm here! Aren't you looking at me?! Maybe jumping around and waving a hand in the air and pointing at itself???
----------------

Amature!!??? What?! Not with those emoticons you make! Are you being sarcastic?? I can post the psd I made from copying yours... All I did was erase your name, type my name in the comic sans font, change the font name to a picture (flattening it), then just deleted each part of the word as needed and made sure the paint spray was going from the can to the proper place in the word/letter. I duplicated frames and changed the left/right position of the smilie and paint can up/down position as required. I'm not sure how you can do it another way, but I'd be interested to learn!

Maybe try moving them even higher? For smilies, I don't believe it looks right to put the hands as if the head was a human head and the hands go where human hands go. Instead, I think think the arms would be in the middle or so of the circle so the hands would be about there or lower.

Also, the hands may be a little "square" too... Don't get me wrong, I think what you did was awesome! I'm just expressing an opinion to make it more smilie-ish in my opinion.

One additional note... I'm guessing when Aiwan was mentioning about the proportion he was saying the different hand positions don't make it appear that the hands are the same size. The hands look a bit larger in some of the positions.
--------------------------------

I was thinking of another idea for one... I'll try my best to explain...

One that gets the "chills" from being "freaked out". Some people have the expression of hair standing on the back of the neck. I don't feel I'm explaining it clearly, but maybe someone will understand and can elaborate?
-------------------------

I don't recall seeing one that says "I give up"... You know, maybe put there hands in the air and have them fall with one side of the mouth going in a little bit (I'm not sure how to explain it)

I didn't understand that one... but I'm sure you weren't taking shots at me biggrin.gif

Actually, I get the gist of it through translating on this thing called the web... "Greetings, yoos! I saw yours смайл earlier. It seems to me is very interesting to the задумкой. Probably someone from посетителйей "will recover" it. We shall wait. And once again welcome to us! " smile.gif

I really like the sign language ones! would it be possible to have them separated and look forward as to say to the reader I love you?

Also, I figure I'd attach the only smilie I've ever created (braveheart)... If anyone wants to take a stab at improving it or doing it over from scratch, feel free...

I would love to see one meditating...

I've searched the net and the only one I can personally find is the following:

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/563646/

I like the idea of floating and having the hands to the sides with the palms facing upwards... I think it would be cool if there was a meditation pillow below him too. I was thinking maybe a glowing around him too (being enlightened) but I'm not sure if that would be too much... Also, I would say the eyes should be closed and the look should be a calm peaceful look overall.

Thanks for the consideration....

Your smilies are the best!!!
