Ok, this is not an entirely new Kolobok, but in a new form. My new puppy Toby is very good at looking innocent when he's done something naughty - as most dogs are. I decided to turn my "Moi?" smiley into a "Golden Retriever". Here's the result:

It was difficult at first, because I haven't drawn in such a long time, but I enjoyed it immensely. Now I'm considering making a basic set of dog Koloboks...maybe. Stay tuned!

I made this little chef a couple of years ago:



There are a lot of other food related Koloboks in the galleries. Below are some of mine, but they're not chefs...and their skill level is debatable. If any of them appeal to you, I would be happy to put chef hats on them.

I know it's been a very long time since I was here last, and I've missed you all. Life threw me a few curve balls over the last two years, starting with a move, Rusty's death, a new job, illness, etc., but things are getting back to normal now. My work schedule is a little less insane and I recently acquired a new best friend as well.

His name is Toby, and he is a Golden Retriever, now 6.5 months old. He is sweet and beautiful and I'm training him to be a therapy dog so he can accompany me to work. Here are a couple of pictures of him:

It's wonderful to come back here again and see familiar names as well as new ones. Hopefully, I'll be able to draw some new Koloboks too. I hope you are all well!

The white one is anemone patens, Dooris. The little purple one is pulsatilla pratensis, a cousin. Both are known as pasque flower in English.

@ alyur, Kellogg's is the company that manufactures Froot Loops cereal. They make a lot of other breakfast cereals too - like Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies.

Thanks for the compliments on my house too, Sweetie. I do play piano, although I wouldn't call myself a pianist. That's my brother's claim to fame. But that baby grand is my pride and joy. It's an 1877 Steinway and absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks, Vala. But I'm not sure what problem you're referring to in frames 27-31? The lion roars in those frames, but I can't see a problem?

As you have "met" my little buddy Rusty via this forum, I just want to let you all know that I said goodbye to him yesterday. He was riddled with cancer. He was my best friend, the center of my life and the best puppy anyone ever had, and where I rescued him once, he rescued me ten thousand times. I only hope that his life with me was good.

There is a German site called Monstersmilies where they make smilies based on Fool's style (apparently with his permission), but in all sorts of colours - not just yellow. Is that what you're looking for?

Each of the artists has a pinned topic here or in the Russian part of the forum, where we introduce our new Koloboks, but there isn't a separate thread just for smilies for dark backgrounds.
Most of Aiwan's Koloboks for dark styles are located at the link Doc posted above, although there may be some in Aiwan's other galleries as well. Just have a look through.
I make almost all my smilies for dark backgrounds as well, and I post them when I have a new one. If you search back through this thread, you'll notice that my new smilies appear twice in my posts; the left is for light styles, the right-hand one for dark backgrounds.
Laie, Connie, Just Cuz, et al make most of their works for light backgrounds, if I'm not mistaken, but I could be wrong. Hope that helps you a bit.
