Hello, everyone! I'm new here to this forum and have just been going through all of the galleries. You people are so talented and so funny! biggrin.gif

I looked very carefully, I think, but there are so many to look at I may have missed something. Would it be possible for someone to make a Kolobok kitty doing the Limbo dance?

Good morning (or at least it is where I am). Yes, that's what I'm looking for. A friend has a diabetic cat who has been getting very good blood glucose readings lately - with blood glucose, the lower the number, the better the cat is doing. We've had kind of a running joke taken from an old Limbo song - "How low can you go?". So I thought it would be a very funny thing to email to her a picture of a kitty Limbo dancing! I found a static picture I could show you (but jus a smiley, not a cat), but I don't know how to attach it here. If someone could tell me, I will attach it so you can see.

Oh, and I'm a girl!

Oooooh, I love that paper bag! I haven't seen that anywhere here - is it new? And anyway - I never said I was a girl before, so how were you supposed to know? biggrin.gif

Here is the Limbo dance smiley that I would love to see turned into an animated Kolobok, but with a kitty in the middle. Do you think it's possible? I know they've got legs, but I think it would work without them if the kitty just went sort of flat backwards when it was going under and then back up after it was past the bar. What do you think?

Not new, and it is 833P's work.

Hint: When I post koloboks, if you right-click to save you will always see who the author is in the name. For example, the bag girls shows "833p_baggirl.gif", so 833P is the author.

Ah, thank you for the tip! I'm such a noob! smile.gif

I guess it's not in the galleries, then? I haven't had time to go through all of the forum threads yet - there's just so much!

The tip could apply only for my posts, as I don't know how others upload their koloboks. I try to give credit to the author, when I know who it is. Yes, 833P's work is somewhere in the galleries. It should be in the Visitors gallery.

Ok.. let's start here... This is so not ready for prime time but I need your feed back on which direction to take with this.

Is this too goofy? Should I get rid of the legs?

The poll holders will be moving after I figure out what to do with the kitty.

I love the kitty's face, but would it work without the legs and maybe with the kitty moved down just a bit? What I'm hoping is that the kitty can actually go under the bar, maybe tilting back sort of like this one , but not completely flat of course and then come back upright in front of the bar. And maybe the people holding the bar could follow with their eyes? Am I asking for too much? It sounds like it could be a lot of work.

Tell me if I'm being a big pain, okay? I really have no idea how much work this will be for you.

Because this is not my passion to make I will have to say no to the Kitty going under the bar. That would become a very elaborate animation coming up on over 60 frames. I have done that with animations but it takes a strong passion to do that much detail.

However, we can certainly remove the legs. I agree it just doesn't look right.

So ok.. how about the Kitty laid out like you suggested... I like that... doing a Limbo back and forth and the bar holders nodding their heads in encouragement?

Yes, thank you very much - that would be lovely! As I said, I have no idea how much time it takes to do one of these - but I had a feeling it would be a lot of work. That you are doing this at all is so much appreciated.

Oh, also forgot to ask - could we maybe take the hair off the top of the kitty's head?

thank you so much for finding that for me. I knew it was somewhere.

I think that the kitty looks fine the way it is. It is supposed to be slightly goofy to my way of thinking.
