I have returned after a long time; sad to see no new smilies. I guess the energy has run out.

I remember a time when you could look each week and there would be something new. Where did all the talented smilie makers go? And where the people who admire all their efforts? nea.gif

QUOTE (AHL @ Jul 3 2010, 07:02 PM) *
problem is this generator doesn't look good on dark backgrounds. anywhere i can look where there is a similar generator that is used solely for dark backrounds?

TY it's brilliant.
And a HUGE TY to Alyur who went to the trouble to send me a message to tell me it was back.
That's what makes this such a nice community.

New Zealand.
December 25 and December 26 (Boxing Day) and January 1.
Schools are finished around 11th December and go back towards the start of February. Of course it is summer down here - down under - so this is our "long break".

So why does her little pink message have a white background if the 40 frames are all on checker background? That was my question.

It's pretty easy. If you want something free, use Paint.NET (www.getpaint.net). You can also try Photoshop, but that'll cost you about $700. If you use PDN, just delete the pixels around it and save it as a gif. Or PM them to me and I'll do it for you blum.gif .

Hoe can you do it on a 40 frame animation when you can't even see a white background? (It's just alternating grey and white checkers).

Well its 50 frames long and it looks like it is on a transparent thing - canvas? So i don't know why there is white.
Sorry I can't help.
And the link was no help to me either.
