I've got three. One "does" the next-to-the-head-on-the-pillow routine (this also includes purring at supersonic levels). One sleeps on my feet and hugs my legs. He's taken many flying lessons (after my feet go numb). The other sleeps on my waist -- prefers the right side, but, will settle for the left side or the chest. No wonder I wake up so many times during the night dreaming that I can't breathe

I have SOME idea.

One of my old girlfriends had a cat.
Darned thing LOVED me.

It would always sleep on my chest when I spent the night.
But when it first got on the bed, it would creep up to my face and give me "kisses" while purring like a Mac Truck.

If I sat in a chair watching TV or whatever, it would lay on top of my right arm and lick me constantly.

That is so FUNNY .

I used to have a kitty, Sam who slept on my chest.

He would be very gentle in the morning touching my face with his paw BUT as soon as I peeked and ignored him ...he would sink his claws in to get me up NOW.

I SO miss him (he has been long gone but not forgotten).

Awe...that's a cute tabby.

I must confess...I had two "Sam" Siamese kitties (males)
before my last Sam .

The first , I adopted and he passed away; the other was bought
as a kitten. My father was so attached he wouldn't let me take him when
I moved thus I got my last Sam.

Then I adopted a sweetie tortoise-type and named her Samantha
but after she "christened" my sofa pillow (instead of her box), she
was called Stinker.

"Sweet" Stinker lived 18 years (longest of all my kitties).

She tolerated people and we could never pick her up .

I have three cats, a black 16.5 year old boy called Jordan, a nearly 8 year old (her birthday is on the 10th November) little white girl called Nina, and one of her kittens (we saw him born on April Fools Day 5 years ago) a beautiful white and ginger boy called Tyler. Tyler has no brains but he is utterly gorgeous to look at (and he knows it )
