I'm sorry, I didn't realize the link would be different for non-english users. pardon.gif

Try this one instead: Aiwan's GDK

there is still this HUGE unknown part about bringing in new stuff....

I'm kind of stuck here... is too difficult for me draw new elements...

QUOTE(Just Cuz @ Feb 24 2007, 04:53 AM)
Personally, I do most of my drawing in a separate graphics program because Ulead doesn't have as many tools available for doing the job. Plus, I'm more accustomed to using MSPaint for that anyway.

QUOTE(Just Cuz @ Apr 1 2007, 03:10 PM)
Yes, I do most of my drawing with good ol' MSPaint

I know, I know, I'm practicing in MSPaint and in other couple of programs...

Use whatever program you're most comfortable with. For me that happens to be MSPaint because I've used it for so long. But if you're more accustomed to some other program, by all means use that instead.

I have actually become a bit more used to drawing within the ULead program itself - so I do that occasionally as well. Usually only for small elememts like mouths and such, but it does save some time. good.gif

I know my friend, many thanks for your words. I only hope to get something worthy before this turn into my portrait, hehehe ----->

You can use whichever program(s) you like.

This topic is geared toward Ulead because that is what I use, and I can't give advice on a program I'm not familiar with. pardon.gif

I tried to work using those to create my Koloboks, but had a lot of difficulties. So I switched to Ulead GIF Animator, which I strongly recommend to you.

Well I have absolutely no drawing ability whatsoever nea.gif but I have decided I am going to give this a go tonight (or during this week).

Just a question, is Ulead GIF Animator free?

I'm afraid is not. However, you can download a 15 day free trial here: http://www.ulead.com/ga/runme.htm

I have just installed Ulead [the very long trail-version wink.gif ] and it almost looks simple biggrin.gif

I believe Aiwan made a special pack for us starters/wannabe artists but i don't see it on the site.

Aiwan released a GDK (Graphics Development Kit) a couple of years ago.
You can download it here:
For English Users
Для российских Пользователей

I also provided some examples for beginners that may be a little less intimidating
These links will start the download:
Example 1
Example 2

And made a set of categorized, individual elements available:
Elements

All of these downloads were listed earlier in this topic - if you need to reference. wink.gif

You'll have to be more specific as to what you mean by "combine".

If you are wishing to have this style do this action, you will need to redraw the frames.

It's not "magic". wink.gif
